Wellsville China Co., Two (2) Walton's Lunch 6 3/4" Cereal Bowl, Restaurant Ware

Description

For sale is a pair (2) of restaurant cereal bowls by Wellsville China Co. of Wellsville, OH. These bowls were made for Walton's Lunch, a chain of luncheons in Boston and Montreal and feature the Walton's logo on the rim. The logo and coordinating trim are in brown on a tan base. Each bowl measures approximately 6 1/2" wide at the outer rim and 4 3/4" at inner rim, with a base of 3 1/4" and standing 1 3/4" high.
These pieces appear as new old stock and is they have never been used. There is no damage, utensil marks or shelf wear. The exterior, close to the rim, do have three spots without glaze on the bottom from manufacturing as well as imperfections which have been fully glazed (example detail last photograph). They have Wellsville backstamp in black script.
