    Description

    Wallace China of Los Angeles made this plate in the late 1940s-1950s for the Last Frontier Village and Casino in Las Vegas on the strip. The Last Frontier was built in 1942 and was the first themed casino in Vegas. Elvis performed his first show here in 1956.
    The plate color is strong and bright and I can see no damage of any kind, not really any signs of use. The plate is heavy-duty and the design shows an old western downtown scene with brands and steer heads on the rim. This design is considered rare and hard to find, not the El Rancho pattern but the Last Frontier Village marking.
