Vintage Hindu Wood Block Print on Rice Paper from India / China

Description

This is an original Vintage Hindu Wood Block Rice Paper Print from India / China. This item was purchased by my father in Bangkok in the late 1970's / early 1980's when he owned an Asian Antique shop in Penang, Malaysia.  This rice paper print is meant to be to be framed.  I have framed a number of these prints and based on my experience they look lovely with a simple black frame and the appropriate matting.  All wrinkles from this delicate paper can be removed by ironing the print directly on low heat.  The translucent & cloud-like texture of rice paper make it seem like the print is floating within the frame.

All Prints are shipped rolled in a 2-3 inch diameter tube or box.  They will never be folded.
