Up for sale is a Chinese watercolor painting of a lady on silk, likely dated post mid-20
th
century.
The painting in round shape is with a green hue, in which a lady in ancient costumes is sitting and leaning against a rock next to a water pond in a garden with fence at remote locations. There is a tree next to the lady with white flowers like plum blossoms. The lady is with a book at hand. Notably, it seems that she is not reading but meditating. Not signed, not dated either.
Not framed, but
the painting is attached to a paperboard with a frame-like cover in dark brown color, as shown in the 11th photo.
