Vintage 2 Chinese Watercolor Peony Paintings on Silk;
Up for sale is a set of 2 Chinese watercolor paintings of flowers and butterflies on silk, dated post mid-20
th
century.
The hand painted themes including peonies, roses and butterflies are in varieties and beautiful colors over a brown rice color background. Both paintings were original and signed in calligraphy with a seal stamp. The dates of creation were also shown, as of

辰
(1976)
and
丁
卯
(1987),
respectively. Not framed, but
each painting is attached to a paperboard.

Two paintings are in the same sizes: Paperboard part,
16” x 18 ½”
; Painting part,
12 x 14 ½”
.
Condition: Very good, no issues to report.
