    PAIR of RARE Chinese Art - 2 Bamboo Wood Bird Mosaics on Silk 1950's Originals. Measures 8" x 10".
    Once framed, they will measure about 10" x 12"  or larger depending on your frame choice.
    Over 100 pieces of bamboo/plant pieces were used to make each one of these, intricately placed by hand to make this beautiful art. These are from the estate of the late Mamo Clark, Hawaiian born actress who stared in the 1935 film Classic Mutiny on the Bounty with Clark Gable. She purchased these while her husband was stationed in occupied Japan in early 1950. They were found along with many other artifacts in her Japanese Dansu Chest. I have others that I will be listing soon.
