This MXR Deep Phase access to a multitude of phase tones through its no-nonsense 2 knob interface. If you're looking for a little more versatility, though, don't worry - the Mode II switch gives you the option to change from the default Phase 90-style, 4-stage phase effect, to an 8-stage phase effect. This doubles the number of peaks, creating a more turbulent-sounding texture.
