Artist by Mao Zedong Thought Combat Team, issued by the Hankou Worker’s Rebellion Headquarters (HWRH), suite 401, Liberation Building, the province of Hubei, China. HWRH was the first workers rebel organization in Hubei established Nov. 10

    This is an early Chinese Great Proletariat Cultural Revolution (CGPCR, 1966 –1976) poster, especially a Mao‘s spiritual instruction propaganda printed by the southern, one of the most intensive cities of fight.
    The poster based on an article (as known as Yan’an Forum) written on May 1942, by Chairman Mao (Mao Zedong, 1893 – 1976). The Forum held at the city of Yan’an in Communist-controlled China, northern Shaanxi province, and significant event in the Yan’an Rectification Movement (YRM, 1942-1945). Mao Zedong officially ascended to the position of the highest leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) by launching the YRM.
    The poster takes a short extract from Mao’s article as its title which said “For Communists, it means to stand on the stand of the party, stand on the standpoint of party spirit and party policy”. The background of the poster shows a symbolized window of the Yan'an house cave (Yao-Dong), and Mao steps front to give a speech for the forum.
