    Description

    For auction is a C. S. Osborne & Co. No. 33 -- 7 oz Head Bronze Magnetic Upholstery Hammer.  Per the manufacturer's website -- "Solid head of bright bronze. Steel tipped at one end for permanent magnet and at the other end for hammering. Balanced design, lacquered hickory handle."  Length of head: 5-1/2 in.  Weight of head: 7 oz.  Total weight: 11 oz.  Diameter of magnetic face:  1/4 in.  Diameter of large face: 7/16 in.  The tool is not marked with Country of Origin but I believe all C. S. Osborne tools are still Made in New Jersey, USA.
    This professional quality pre-owned specialty hammer is in very good, fully functional condition.  The tool shows evidence of normal use including marks on the steel hammer tips and also on the sides of the hammer.  The hickory handle, likely the original, is in very good condition.  There is no excess wear, no damage and there are no previous owner ID marks.
    Most of the items I sell are from estate sales, auctions, flea markets, etc.
    I clean them as necessary to properly evaluate the condition and allow you to judge the actual item rather than a previous owner’s dirt.
    I want to know if the typical dirt and grime and/or harmless surface rust is covering any damage.
    My photos will always be the actual item for sale and I try to describe and show the condition as thoroughly as possible.
