Condition: Victorian era mortise lock is marked BLW (Branford Lock Works). Mortise casing is iron and so attracts a magnet, the ornate doorknobs, strike plate, keyhole cover, rosette and knob plates do NOT attract a magnet and are likely bronze(?). Set includes both beautifully designed doorknobs with connecting spindle and set screws, BLW marked mortise lock (no key, mechanism works but may need oiled), round rosette, keyhole cover plate, escutcheon plate, strike plate, and some screws. All have a dark patina and show some usual age and usage wear. GREAT finds!! Be sure to view all 12 photos carefully.
